INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
AUSTRAL IMS
Austral operates an integrated Quality, Safety and Environmental management system (IMS). The
Austral IMS is a third party accredited system of processes and best
work practices into which all personnel are inducted. It is an invaluable project
tool that provides the framework through which our people achieve
excellence in all aspects of our
business.
QUALITY
Project
Management Plans are specifically designed for each project. Clients
can have confidence that the project has been completed to the defined
design and construction standards. Systems are focussed on management of
all design and construction activities to control the project and to
produce fully documented and auditable records of completed works.
Austral is certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
SAFETY
An
Occupational Health and Safety System in accordance with the
requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001 is in place and is central to
Austral’s commitment to safety. Inductions, training, regular safety
meetings and site inspections are essential elements to ensure a safe
and healthy workplace. Dedicated officers are appointed to implement,
manage and audit the system.
ENVIRONMENT
The
Company believes that care of the environment is the responsibility of each and every employee. An Environmental
Management System operates to the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001.
